EDC Las Vegas is just one week away, and while the main event is at the racetrack, there are plenty more festival happenings taking place across the city, whether you’re checking into Hotel EDC, pitching a tent at Camp EDC, or looking for after-hours action at any of the festival’s EDC Week events.
Insomniac Events’ flagship massive has been just that since it moved to Las Vegas in 2011, but as the festival celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, there are even more surprises in store.
Read on for a full rundown on all things EDC beyond the festival, and be prepared for the event’s return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway next weekend, May 15-17.

EDC World Party Parade
To celebrate Electric Daisy Carnival’s 30th anniversary this year, Insomniac is hosting the first-ever EDC World Party Parade, a free, all-ages parade and street party shutting down the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday, May 14.
Rolling down Las Vegas Boulevard, between Sahara Boulevard and Genting Boulevard, with over 30 art cars, hundreds of performers, moving sound systems, and surprise DJ sets in the style of Berlin’s famous Love Parade, the procession will culminate in a closing dance party at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. The parade starts at 6PM.

Camp EDC
Camp EDC is your desert oasis in the shadow of America’s biggest rave.
Open from Thursday to Monday, the festival’s most convenient lodging destination shelters over 20,000 ravers just steps from the entrance to the speedway. But between afternoon pool parties, early morning afters, and dozens of guest activities, you don’t even need to leave camp to catch a vibe.
At the center of thousands of “ShiftPods” and RV campsites lies the Mesa, a busy hub of entertainment, amenities, and community built exclusively for campers all weekend long. Beneath its three main tents, guests will find an abundance of activities, musical and otherwise. Sol hosts yoga, guided meditation, rave aerobics, and fitness classes. Cascada shelters transformational activities, wellness workshops, and arts and crafts. Flora gets fans glam with beauty stations, massages, the Camp EDC Salon and Spa, and more. Guests can also cool off in one of four on-site Oasis pools, just steps away from Camp’s designated dance floor.
The Camp shenanigans begin with a special Thursday night kickoff party featuring Cloonee, a B2B from fellow UK heavyweights Prospa and French stalwart Chloé Caillet, surging British selector Josh Baker, and Latin electronic sensations RØZ.
On Friday, the pool party slate heats up with an Insomniac Records takeover soundtracked by Roddy Lima, San Pacho, and Slugg. Saturday’s Bassrush takeover brings dubstep displays from Cyclops, Mary Droppinz, RIOT, and YDG, followed by a Sunday afternoon curated by Day Trip, pumping house and UKG beats from Interplanetary Criminal, Murphy’s Law, and Silva Bumpa.
Night owl? No problem. Camp EDC afters go until sunrise every night of the festival. After night one of the festival, Saturday morning brings house talents Omar+ and Luke Alessi, plus EDC veteran Baggi. Sunday morning taps Mexican-born house talent Kinahau, clubland legend Luciano, and NYC’s Mink. Running until 10AM, Camp EDC’s Monday closing party is always one for the books. This year’s is led by Brazilian house sensation Beltran, joined by a typically lengthy roster of high-profile surprise guests.
