It took less than an hour for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to sell out. The festival returns to the Coachella Valley for two weekends: April 15-17 and April 22-24.
If you were unable to get tickets, you’re in luck — you still have a few options.
As of 2pm on Wednesday, Jan. 6th, you could still purchase GA and VIP passes to Weekend 2 – IF you use your American Express credit card. The company sends out a special link to it’s customers so they can get tickets without waiting online for what seems like hours. Ask a friend who has an AMEX card – and see if they will purchase a ticket for you.
Another option – you could have a friend who lives in the Coachella Valley buy your ticket during the LOCALS ONLY SALE. This usually takes place in early April, ahead of the festival. There will be a 2 pass limit per weekend per resident, while supplies last. Wristbands will be placed on the wrist of the resident purchaser and their guest by festival staff – guest must be present. Resident passes may only be purchased for use by valley resident and their guest. Proof of residency must be shown in the form of a California driver’s license or ID card. Passes are non-transferable. You must live in the following zip codes in order to purchase a pass:
92201, 92202, 92203, 92210, 92211, 92230, 92234, 92236, 92240, 92241, 92253, 92254, 92255, 92258, 92260, 92261, 92262, 92263, 92264, 92270, 92274, 92275, 92276, AND 92292.
