Today the certified kind of techno, Carl Cox, shared some really big news. He and the funky legend Fatboy Slim have a new track coming out entitled “Speed Trials On Acid.”
“I am very very happy to unveil the track that I made in collaboration with my long time friend Fatboy Slim. #SpeedTrialsOnAcid is a reworking from my upcoming live electronic project,” Cox wrote in an Instagram post announcing the new release.
The post only came with the static album artwork rather than a video or any audio so there is little indication of how the track will sound. However, with two dance music innovators involved it will surely be something to get the crowd moving. For an idea of their chemistry together, check out their 2019 back-to-back set at Saatchi Gallery in London.
“Speed Trials On Acid” from Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim will be out this Friday, April 8.
