Casmalia & Sean Lafayette Collab On Smooth House Track, “Escape From You”

San Diego-based DJ, producer, and live-vocalist Casmalia has joined up with Sean Lafayette for a smooth yet bass-heavy track, “Escape From You,” on IN/ROTATION.

“Escape From You” is a tension-filled house piece enhanced by Casmalia’s ethereal vocals, the catchy beat picking up before dropping into a deep and smooth breakdown filled with groovy bass.

Casmalia said about the track, “‘Escape From You’ has been an idea in my head since the start of 2022. Collaborating with Sean has really helped this track reach its full evolution. He did an amazing job creating a melody that conveys the original emotion of the song: the freeing feeling of letting go of someone/something we once loved that no longer serves us.”

The San Diego artist is a classically trained musician with a degree in audio engineering and clear skills in both singing and songwriting. She has released on prominent labels like Insomniac Records, mau5trap, Night Bass, Space Yacht, and House of Hustle. She’s also heavily influenced by disco, Detroit-style techno, and 90’s hip hop, with bass-heavy production and complex percussion.
