Daft Punk Share Special Edition Blue And Clear Vinyl Of ‘TRON: Legacy’ Soundtrack

Back in 2010, Daft Punk made history (yet again) by releasing their first-ever film score. The enigmatic electronic duo composed the music for Disney’s TRON: Legacy, the sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic, TRON.

Now, the duo have shared a special edition 2-disc, blue and clear vinyl version of the soundtrack. The package is available exclusively at Target. Click here for more information.

With this release, the soundtrack has seen a new uptick on the charts. According to Billboard, the album hit number one on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart after recording 10,000 unit sales between December 11 and 16. The report goes on to say that 94 percent of those sales came from physical copies.

It seems even after breaking up back in February of last year, the legacy of Daft Punk will live on. Probably much longer than Tron’s, too.
