Deadmau5 is Hosting His First-Ever Drive-In Event

Deadmau5 is dipping his feet into the Drive-IN experience. Despite The Chainsmokers getting some serious flack for an event they performed at with little social distancing, these events have been happening around the world without issue.

The CityView Drive-In will host Deadmau5 on Friday August 14th in Toronto. According to their website: “From the safety of your own vehicle, capture world class talent on a massive 238-foot stage with the Toronto skyline in the background. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, or you can order through us and we’ll deliver your order right to your vehicle, so there’s virtually no need to step outside.”

Seems like a cool experience. Drive-In events are successful when the proper precautions are taken. On an Instagram post today, Deadmau5 says, “please rest assured the team have been working hard to ensure this is a safe and socially distanced event. tickets will go on-sale this coming Monday August 3rd.”

As the mau5 says, you can get tickets here on August 3 here. Please note the travel restrictions to Canada at this time.
