Deadmau5 is releasing a brand new blockchain art piece with artist OG Slick. Dedmau5‘s digital art pieces will be a part of his ‘Slickmau5’ collection which will be released on Nifty Gateway on March 9 at 7 PM EST on Nifty Gateway’s website. Deadmau5‘s new blockchain art will use NFT’s (non-fungible token) technology. For those who are unaware, NFT’s trade on the blockchain, ensuring that each deadmau5 blockchain piece will be 100% verifiable as authentic. Each piece will also contain exclusive music by deadmau5 from his upcoming new artist album.
Blockchain technology allows for collectors to buy and sell digital deadmau5 art pieces and various other art pieces on marketplaces such as the Nifty Gateway. The ‘Slickmau5’ collection is deadmau5’s fourth offering on the digital blockchain. His first collabed NFT with Sutu sold for $52,000 on SuperRare. Deadmau5 is looking to continue that success with his newly announced blockchain art with artist OG Slick.
