Disclosure have dominated the news cycle this week with their daily drop of new tunes, and that trend continues today with the latest single, “Seduction.” This is the third of five new tracks they will release through Friday, culminating in their new EP, Never Enough.
Where the week’s previous tracks, “In My Arms,” and “Happening,” were on the darker side of their sound, “Seduction,” is all about the funk. A finger-plucked bass line drives the track forward against resonating pads and titillating vocal samples for a finished product that is of the Lawrence brothers’ grooviest works.
