Two well-respected Dutch DJs, DubVision and Afrojack, have teamed up for the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix Official Track with the perfectly titled “Feels Like Home”.
The euphoric anthem is pure 2013 good-times-energy and brings the nostalgia of coming back to where it all began. The trio performed the song on Sunday, September 4 right on the racetrack with several dancers adding to the exciting race energy.
“The track is an ode to where it all started; for me, for Verstappen, for DubVision and so many others,” said Afrojack. Afrojack is referencing the current 2022 race leader Max Verstappen of the Red Bull racing team, a longtime friend of young EDM pioneer Martin Garrix.
Formula 1 and dance music have a long history together of both promotion and partnerships. Just recently, F1 announced an official Las Vegas Grand Prix that will coincide with events by EDM event company Insomniac. F1 is producing the race in partnership with Live Nation, the live events conglomerate that owns Insomniac, meaning the sky is the limit for future dance music collaborations with the racing giant.
