London-based DJ and producer Duckworthsound and renowned Bristol-based mic-man Dread MC just dropped DND Connection, a 9-track bass house compilation paying homage to the authentic and genuine culture surrounding dance music in the United Kingdom.
The compilation commences with an intense collaboration titled “Lose Yourself” by Duckworthsound, Dread MC, and AK Renny. The track sets the tone for the rest of the compilation with its hard-hitting bass-house sound that features driving beats and a compelling bassline.
Dread MC’s vocals add an extra layer of dynamism to the track. Following this is “Wake Up” by Bad Patterns, a lively bass-house track that showcases a warm, pulsating bassline and a seductive vocal sample.
The compilation is brought to a close by Jerre’s “UNDERGROUND” which contributes a tech-inspired groove to the mix. The production of the track is exceptionally playable, with commanding vocal chops, thumping kicks, and driving basslines, pushing listeners to get lost in the elements of the UK sound.
