EDC TRAFFIC ALERT
It looks like traffic may be a cause for concern once again during this year’s EDC weekend. The Nevada DOT has announced there will be a major closure during EDC: the US Highway 95 will close at Interstate 15 during the ENTIRE weekend.
“It was unavoidable since the following weekend is Memorial Day. And the Electric Daisy Carnival moved up its festival date by a month, which also threw off our closure planning,” NDOT wrote in a statement to the press.
The road closure will take place from May 18 at 10 p.m. through May 21 at 5 a.m.

PRO TIPS: Whatever you do, don’t take the 95 to get on I-15. Plan accordingly and leave early to avoid any delays getting to the festival.
