Last night, electronic music fans from around the world tuned in to Insomniac’s Night Owl Radio to join the Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella for the unveiling of the official 2020 lineup for Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas. Beginning at 6PM PST, Night Owl Radio released a special edition of “Music Through Music” that slowly revealed the lineup through a series of mixes and tracks that allowed fans to put together a by-stage lineup of artists taking the stage this year.
Ahead of an already sold-out event, the 2020 edition of EDC Las Vegas this May 15th to 17th is the most anticipated year yet as Insomniac prepares to celebrate the 10th Anniversary at the Las Vegas location since the festival moved from Los Angeles in 2010. Upon the release of the lineup, EDC Las Vegas has not only made 2020 their most legendary year but has solidified their presence as the hottest electronic music event of the year amongst all festivals worldwide.
The list of headliners this time around fills the gaps of artists missing from other major festivals like Ultra and Tomorrowland as EDC Las Vegas pulls the best of the best for a collectively mind-blowing lineup. There are over 250 confirmed artists that will take the stages of EDC this May with artists spanning across all genres of electronic music, making this lineup the leading lineup of the year. Headliners include house legend DJ Snake, Arty, Jauz, Detlef, ANNA, Said the Sky, Fisher, Ghastly, Wooli, Darren Styles, Gryffin, Ben Nicky, Slander, Andrew Rayel, Cosmic Gate, Lady Faith, Martin Garrix, Rezz, Tiesto, David Guetta, Alesso, MK, R3hab, Zedd, Chainsmokers, Excision, Loud Luxury, Carl Cox, Galantis, Major Lazer, Markus Schulz, and many more.
In addition to revealing the headliners, Pasquale also discussed upcoming changes and additions to EDC Las Vegas now that the festival has received approval to utilize the entire Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the first time ever. The theme for this year was announced as kineticZen, which will bring about exciting new stage designs and production for the world’s largest electronic music festival.
Along with this expansion, EDC Las Vegas will be adding an extra stage dedicated to house music called Skylab for a total of nine stages throughout the festival. This year the Neon Garden will be even larger and will be converted into an enclosed structure, meaning more opportunity for lighting and production displays.
As part of the expansion, the circuit grounds will be expanding even more to accommodate more people. This year will also be the final year for the Basspod stage design. As the festival approaches, fans can count on more exciting reveals and additions for this incredibly special year of EDC Las Vegas. While tickets are sold out, the waitlist option has been releasing confirmed tickets every two weeks. For a chance to join, sign up for the waitlist here.
