Experience EDC In Virtual Reality

Festival season may be over, but there’s certainly no shortage of memories for you to look back on after an amazing year of festivals.

One awesome memory for many is Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Wrapping up it’s 19th year of EDC, Insomniac Events celebrated life, unity and good music in Las Vegas this past June with incredible production and out of this world stage designs.

If you’re looking to relive some of this epicness, look no further. Insomniac released an awesome EDC virtual reality video via Facebook’s new 360 degree video format back in September when it was quietly introduced. The format allows you to experience videos shot in VR with right on your iPhone. Tilt your iPhone and you tilt your view. The video follows your movements and it’s like you’re actually there! #thefuture

Mark Zuckerberg himself officially introduced the feature on his Facebook just a few days ago saying:

“360 video is a completely new experience because you can move the camera around. This opens new ways of sharing experiences and makes you feel like you’re part of what you’re watching. It’s a step towards even more immersive experiences.”

Virtual reality is certainly becoming the best new way to experience videos on Facebook and what better way to check out the new feature than with Insomniac’s EDC 360 experience! The feature is officially live on Facebook and you can almost bet will see plenty more of these immersive videos in the very near future. Tilt your phone while the video is playing and get get ready to be blown away.

EXPERIENCE EDC 360

*Note: the best way to view this is in the Chrome browser on your computer or with the latest version of the Facebook iOS app. To find the video, simply go to the EDC Facebook page (using the Facebook app), click on videos and click on “Relive EDCLV 2015.”

You can also download the FacadeTV app from the App Store to experience EDC 360.
