London’s electronic music spectacular, Field Day, has officially announced the first wave of artists to headline its 2023 edition.
Set to be held on Saturday, August 19, in Victoria Park, the London Field Day lineup confirms Aphex Twin’s first headlining set since 2017, and his first live performance since 2019. This announcement comes after a mysterious website hinted at his return to the stage.
Frequent collaborator Weirdcore will provide the visuals for the eclectic electronic music producer’s highly anticipated comeback.
Aphex Twin is known as an originator of Intelligent Dance Music, and when his work is combined with the artistic touch of Weirdcore’s graphics, they are bound to put on a show that bestows the genre’s true meaning.
Beyond Aphex Twin, the alternative electronic master, Bonobo, will headline as well while Jayda G, Fever Ray, SBTRKT, Sudan Archives, LSDXOXO B2B Juliana Huxtable take lower slots on the roster.
