Flume Drops Surprise Album Of Unreleased Tracks To Celebrate Ten Year Career

Grammy-winning electronic music tastemaker, Flume, just dropped a surprise album of unheard and unreleased tracks from his ten-year career entitled Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan.

Flume has been teasing unreleased old-school music coming since 2022 on social media. It began with the release of “Slugger 1.4 [2014 Export.WAV],” an epic and euphoric song that Flume claimed he discovered while going through an old laptop.

Fans went nuts over the nostalgia and requested him to share more music similar to the early demo.

Since then, Flume has posted videos combing through old laptops and hard drives, discovering promising partial singles or completed works. The LP contains ten experimental tracks that were crafted, but never officially released, over Flume’s career.

The 2023 package marks ten years since Flume’s self-titled debut album Flume launched the producer into commercial and critical acclaim. Now to celebrate, Flume will headline The Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 5 with support from Chet Faker and Kučka.

Artist presale for Flume at the Kia Forum begins Monday, February 13 at 10AM PST with general sale beginning Monday, February 13 at 12PM PST. Click here for more information.
