Flume Drops Two New Singles From Upcoming Album, ‘Palaces’

The anticipation has been high since Australian Producer, Flume simultaneously announced his new album Palaces and dropped the first single  “Say Nothing” featuring May-a back in February.

Fast forward to April and Flume, real name Harley Edward Streten, is dropping the title track “Palaces” featuring the Gorillaz’ Damon Albarn as well as another single, “ESCAPE” which a collaboration with Quiet Bison and features Australian Vocalist Kućka.

Leaving Los Angeles and moving back home, Streten found himself nesting in New South Wales, Australia. He often speaks about how the beautiful scenery and nature of the Northern Rivers Region inspired him to create the track “Palaces.”

Streten has always been one to sync his emotion-provoking visuals with his out-of-the-box sound design which can be seen in the official music video for “Palaces”. A five-minute long piece of cinema is a beautifully moving abstract tropical rainforest visual piece wherein the scene changes only as the music tells the story.

Dropping May 20 on Transgressive Records, Palaces will also feature some extremely talented artists like Laurel, Oklou, Caroline Polachek, Virgen Maria, and Emma Louise. Streten will be taking off on his US tour where he will showcase Palaces at numerous festivals and venues starting at the end of May and going thru September.
