The official Formula 1 video game soundtrack just arrived and for the first time, it will feature some EDM favorites. Chris Lake announced on his social media that the EA Sports game will feature his song “A Drug from God” with Grimes. .
The tracklist is diverse and features some huge names in house, trap, and bass. Joining Lake in the game are electronic artists like Bob Moses, deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, and Habstrakt. Zeds Dead, and WHIPPED CREAM are sure to have gamers speeding like the Red Bull superstar Max Verstappen.
This is not the first time Formula 1 and dance music have joined forces. Insomniac recently partnered with the racing company to produce events in Miami for this year and Vegas in 2023.
Historically, dance music has been a large part of the international footprint of Formula 1. Race after parties and preparties are notoriously intertwined with EDM and feature some of the top names in dance music like The Chainsmokers and Swedish House Mafia.
