Just hours before its first wave of tickets was set to go on sale, Glastonbury announced a new ticket on-sale date, pushing back today’s sale by two weeks. Another sale was scheduled for November 6, but that one has been pushed back two weeks as well.
A statement from the festival reads: “This is to ensure that everyone who would like to buy a ticket is registered and therefore eligible to purchase one.”
The new Glastonbury ticket on-sale dates are now Thursday, November 16 at 6PM GMT (2PM ET) for combined ticket and travel packages, and Sunday, November 19 at 9AM GMT (5AM ET) for standalone passes.
Just last month, Glastonbury alerted fans whose registration details predated 2020 that they would need to “confirm their registration if they wished to keep it.” Registration then closed as planned on October 30.
“Unfortunately, it has come to light that some individuals hoping to buy tickets for 2024 have discovered after Monday’s registration deadline that they are no longer registered, despite believing they were,” Glastonbury’s statement continues.
Organizers added that “out of fairness to those individuals” the registration period will reopen on Monday, November 6 at 12PM GMT (8AM ET) and will remain open until Monday, November 13 at 5PM GMT (1PM ET).
“We apologize for the late change to the ticket sale dates, but we want to ensure that everyone who would like to buy a ticket for next year’s Festival is able to confirm their registration ahead of the sale,” they said.
Glastonbury 2024 will run from June 26-30, 2024. Fans can confirm their existing registration here, or submit new registration here.
