‘Dreams’ is from Gorgon City’s forthcoming album, ‘Olympia’ and released via Astralwerks
Gorgon City has released their sixth single from their forthcoming album ‘Olympia,‘ which is scheduled to release this Friday, June 25. ‘Dreams‘ featuring Jem Cooke follows Gorgon City’s recently released ‘Olympia‘ single, ‘Never Let Me Down’ featuring Hayley May as well as ‘Tell Me It’s True.’
‘Dreams’ incorporates Gorgon City’s signature bassline sounds and rhythm, however, ‘Dreams‘ features a harder bassline than the rest of the released ‘Olympia‘ singles thus far, which means the track will definitely be played out in clubs all summer long. Back in April of this year, Gorgon City described their forthcoming album as such,
“With this record we’ve definitely gone more clubby and have been inspired by the big shows that we played before lockdown. It’s a bigger sound and lyrically it’s different for us.”
‘Olympia‘ is Gorgon City’s third album and will shed a light on Greek mythology as it celebrates two musical worlds coming together as well as the themes of escapism and exploration. In total, the album will feature 18 tracks, with collaborations from Rose Grey & Aura James, Josh Barry, Soffi Tukker, and DRAMA. The duo also announced an official ‘Olympia‘ headlining tour that will feature 25 performances to accompany Gorgon City’s forthcoming album.
