GRiZ’s final curated event before his indefinite hiatus has been announced as Ursa Major, a three-day cosmic campout at the gorgeous Pepsi Amphitheater in Arizona.
The venue is a personal favorite of GRiZ, focusing on the experience and, according to the artist, “A place in the woods where I can sit back smoke a joint and hang with my friends and play music over the summer.”
The event will take place in Flagstaff, recognized as the world’s first international Dark Sky community, with the amphitheater located at Fort Tuthill County Park in the Coconino National Forest.
From September 22-24, GRiZ fans and bass lovers will come together for meaningful music, art, workshops, and camping to celebrate the accepting and open-minded community that he’s spent the last 10 years carefully curating.
The festival will host three completely different sets from GRiZ alongside music personally chosen for each day’s events.
Supporting GRiZ for three of his final performances are several bass favorites and past GRiZpresents event alumni including Black Carl!, Daily Bread, INZO, Justin Jay, Of The Trees, SunSquabi, and more.
This will be GRiZ’s last curated event for a while as he confirmed that GRiZMAS, Space Camp, and New Year’s Eve events won’t happen in 2023 or 2024, with future years also up in the air.
Presale for GRiZ’s new Ursa Major begins Monday, June 12 at 10AM PST and you can sign up to be notified when tickets go on sale here.
