Last week, GRiZ announced a triple-header performance in his current home city of Denver happening next month.
The shows, which stand to be the beloved producer’s last sets before an indefinite hiatus from performing, promptly sold out on Friday.
All three GRiZ performances will take place on Thursday, October 5 at a number of venues across the city.
The first is a “free show for the people” with “chasing the golden hour vibes” that will take place at Levitt Pavilion at 2PM. RSVPs for the Levitt Pavilion show have also sold out.
Then as the sun sets he will move to The Fillmore Auditorium for an “In The Round” performance beginning at 6PM in an homage to his famous 2019 set at the venue.
The final show will happen at Mission Ballroom at 9:30PM, closing things out in grand fashion with the epic production capabilities that Mission offers.
While his final curated event will be a three-day “cosmic campout” at Flagstaff, Arizona’s Pepsi Amphitheater, GRiZ wrote on Instagram that something was “missing” as he and his team move closer to their “ride off into the sunset.”
“It’s gonna be a send but with our history in the city, all the work we’ve done here, and the friends and fam I’ve met here, I decided we gotta close this thing out with a fam jam,” he wrote.
As the pre-hiatus hype continues, rumors of a pop-up show happening today, September 11 in GRiZ’s home state of Michigan have swirled online.
This morning, GRiZ tweeted “I’m gonna be in Grand Rapids today,” and local Facebook users have claimed that the secret event is set for 6PM at The Intersection. Reportedly, a line at the venue entrance has already formed.
Prior to the Denver shows, GRiZ will also play at Breakaway Boston, WAKAAN Music Festival, and Same Same But Different.
