After almost three years away, dance music icon Hardwell is bringing back his famed digital radio broadcast, Hardwell On Air.
One of the most prominent artists of the early 2010s, Hardwell’s high-flying career was accompanied by the success of Hardwell On Air, spotlighting the producer’s well-known big room house sound for 500 episodes before its discontinuation in 2021.
Now, as Hardwell’s career roars back to life following his own four-year hiatus from DJing—beginning in 2018 and ending with a massive comeback performance at Ultra Music Festival 2022—the broadcast’s re-emergence is set for Friday, November 3, 2023.
“I’m super excited to bring Hardwell On Air back to the airwaves,” Hardwell said in a press release. “The show was always a great way to connect with the fans and share the music I’m passionate about. It’s taken a while to get this relaunch of the show in place, but I’m looking forward to kicking off this new HOA era.”
All forthcoming Hardwell On Air episodes will feature on the producer’s official YouTube channel, in a switch away from the now discontinued 24/7 livestream channels operated by his Revealed Recordings label on platforms like Twitch.
Hardwell is regarded as one of the most commercially successful DJs of the modern era, previously named DJ Mag’s number one DJ in the world for two years running, as a result of his genre-defining efforts with hits like “Spaceman,” “Apollo” and “Encoded.”
On top of formally announcing Hardwell On Air’s return, Hardwell and longtime collaborator Nicky Romero performed a surprise back-to-back set at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) last weekend, in celebration of their newest release “I Wanna Dance.”
