For the first time, Hï Ibiza has been voted The World’s No. 1 Club in the 2022 edition of DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs poll. More than 600,000 readers all across the world came forward to vote for the renowned White Isle establishment.
Founder Yann Pissenem stated “It truly is an honor for both myself and the entire team to receive this fantastic news, and to be recognized in this way…To all of the fantastic artists who call Hï Ibiza their home, to my family, my partners, everyone in the industry and every single person who has supported us on this fantastic journey. Really, without all of you, none of this would have ever been possible. ”
Hï Ibiza opened in 2017 and hosts some of the top names in dance music every summer season. This year hosts residencies by Grammy-winner Black Coffee, house icon Damian Lazarus, and “future rave” founder David Guetta. FISHER, the boss behind the top radio track “Losing It”, also has a residency this year at the high-tech Ibiza spot.
This win comes following a host of post-COVID renovations at Hï Ibiza. A giant mural by Argentinian-Spanish street artist Felipe Pantone now resides at the Ibiza nightclub. Additionally, the nightclub added a brand new high-resolution, full-width LED screen for incredible visuals.
DJ Mag is a UK electronic music, DJ, and club culture magazine founded in 1991. The 2021 Top Club winner was Echostage, an Insomniac-acquired acquired club in Washington, D.C.
