Damian Lazarus’ Hï Ibiza Residency To Implement No Phones Policy

Hï Ibiza will implement a no phones policy during Damian Lazarus’ upcoming summer residency.

Every Saturday this summer, from May 18 to October 5, the Crosstown Rebels maestro will promote a cellphone-free dancefloor in the world-famous venue’s Club Room, where he’ll play throughout his returning joint residency with Black Coffee, who will headline the Theatre.

“From open to close we take pride in creating a totally unique environment, centered around the mystical Temple,” Lazarus wrote on Instagram, “it’s a proper session where we lose our inhibitions and can enjoy a sense of freedom as we enforce our groundbreaking ‘No Phones’ policy inside the room.”

Lazarus also shared the weekly support lineups for the residency through its closing this fall, writing, “For the next 21 weeks I promise to deliver the very best underground electronic music played by the most exciting artists on the planet in what is undoubtedly one of the best club spaces in the world.”

Notable guests include Carl Craig, TSHA, SICARIA, HoneyLuv, Patrick Mason, Acid Pauli and Jackmaster B2B Ben Sterling. Hï Ibiza residents Meera, Tony Y Not, Cameron Jack and Floyd Lavine will open the residency events.

Other Hï Ibiza residencies for summer 2024 include Eric Prydz’s new [CELL] A/V show, Tale Of Us, The Martinez Brothers, Patrick Topping, FISHER and more.

Prohibiting cell phone use on the dancefloor has become increasingly common as of late. The policy famously adopted by clubs like New York City’s Nowadays and London’s fabric has also been implemented at events like James Hype and MEDUZA‘s “Our House” show during ADE and ANOTR’s recent No Art showcase at Club Space during Miami Music Week.

Tickets for Black Coffee and Lazarus’ 2024 Hï Ibiza residency are now available here.
