5 Sets To Get Excited For HiJinx Fest 2021

We are less than four weeks away from celebrating one of the biggest NYE parties on the east coast; HiJinx Fest! This December 30th and 31st, Hijinx returns to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for two days packed with bass music. Hijinx Fest holds a special place in my heart because it was my last festival pre-covid in 2019 and as a North East bass-head it’s one of the only festivals that’s under a 6-hour car ride! With that being said, the festival its self brings crazy energy and production with a competitive lineup that I cant wait for! Here are the TOP 5 sets I am most excited for this New Year’s Eve (in no specific order).

1. Alison Wonderland

My GIRL! Australian-based DJ and producer, Alison Wonderland, is beyond talented. Not only is she SWEET at djing but she makes her own music, sings, and plays multiple instruments. I personally spent my lonely quartine nights watching live streams of her mixing and drinking wine and have been counting down the days till I could see her live again. Don’t sleep on Miss Alison because she will f*** you up on a spiritual level!

2. Wreckno

After catching a set from Wreckno at a drive-in during 2020 I’ve been dying to catch this man on a festival stage. His originality shines through his performance creating such a unique energy. You can truly feel the vibes he brings to the audience that will make you want to get groovy!

3. Jauz b2b Kayzo

TWO heavy hitters in EDM take the stage together for the first time EVER. JAUZ b2b KAYZO… do I even have to explain? I have very high expectations for this set as I am a huge fan of the two. I think this one may go down in the books for 2021…

4. Mersiv

I first stumbled across Mersiv in 2019 and it’s wild to see how much his career has grown since then. This past Fall, Mersiv released his debut album “Pretty Dark Loud” which truly encapsulated his style of free form bass music. I’m super excited to experience the Mersiv Sound Project this NYE.

5. Griz

I was beyond happy to see Griz on the Hijinx 2021 lineup. His sets are always packed with a variety of bass music, good vibes, and the live saxophone that gets the crowd going crazy. Griz is one of those artists that truly engages with the crowd and reminds you of why you love the dance music community. I know he will be bringing something special this year and I cannot wait.

Of course this year’s lineup is PACKED with talent and these are just the top 5 I’m most excited for. If you haven’t snagged your HiJinx tickets yet be sure to get them HERE before it’s too late!
