Live streams have been keeping the electronic music community alive throughout the lockdowns this past year and have served as an incredible medium to stay connected on a more intimate level with fans around the world. With live streams becoming the new normal, artists continue to seek new ways to entertain by pushing boundaries in terms of production, location, and more. So far we have seen artists like Charlotte de Witte perform from a medieval fortress, Martin Garrix play a set on the back of a yacht, and Oliver Heldens cruise on a boat down a river in Amsterdam. In one of the most unique announcements is the performance scheduled by Hot Since 82 from the sky…via a hot air balloon!
The British DJ and producer is set to perform from a hot air balloon on November 28th, 2020 at 12PM PST (8PM GMT). This is an entirely unique and unexpected location for a live stream but certainly takes the live stream game to new heights. The performance is brought to you via Insomniac’s Factory 93 over the beautiful town of Bristol in the United Kingdom. The live stream set will be part of the debut for Hot Since 82’s latest album “Recovery,” which will be released a day prior. To watch this truly epic performance, head here!
