One of the biggest electronic artists in the world, ILLENIUM, is partnering up with End Overdose for an Instagram Live tomorrow. End Overdose is a nonprofit committed to making overdose training and overdose preventative medication, naloxone, available to all.
On April 26 at 2PM PST, the famed producer and DJ will go on Instagram Live with End Overdose to train fans on how to identify and respond to an overdose emergency.
ILLENIUM is personally connected to the crisis as in 2012, he suffered an overdose after a battle with addiction, even writing “Take You Down” about his fight.
But now he is committed to helping end the overdose epidemic, writing on a social media announcement, “Today, the danger of drug overdose is way higher because of the fentanyl problem. I think to battle that, everyone should be knowledgeable and prepared to help anyone who may need it.”
