Imagine Music Festival 2021 Has Been Cancelled

Imagine Music Festival announced today that the 2021 edition of the festival has been cancelled. The news comes as a result of tropical depression Nicholas. The storm recently made landfall in the United States, hitting Louisiana and Texas, and is expected to cross Chattahoochee Hills, where Imagine was scheduled to take place.

“The site has had a tremendous amount of land improvement over the years, not limited to paved roads, extensive grading, water lines, and French drains throughout. However no amount of land improvements can withstand a hit from a hurricane or tropical storm and remain safe for staff to work and guests to attend,” Imagine said in a statement.

Imagine is one of many festivals to fall victim to intense weather conditions this season. Hurricane Ida caused Bonnaroo 2021 to be cancelled the day it was set to open. Ida also had detrimental effects to Elements Festival, which was able to continue, but sparked a huge amount of complaints and negative reviews from attendees and artists.
