Imagine Music Festival has a new home for 2022. The venue is Kingston Downs, Georgia, about a 90-minute drive from the previous venue of Chattahoochee Hills. Kingston Downs hosted Counterpoint Festival in 2014-15, so it can clearly handle the logistics of a major festival.
Imagine made the announcement via social media with a video and list of upgrades the new site will provide. Some of the upgrades include lazy river tubing, nature trails, and camping entertainment. They have also promised logistical upgrades like additional spaces for RV camping and more free water stations. Check out the full list below.
The news comes following the sudden cancellation of Imagine 2021. The organizers made the decision to cancel the event two days before opening due to the extreme weather of Hurricane Nicholas. Certainly not an ideal situation, but better to cancel and avoid a dangerous situation than run the festival and risk the health and safety of attendees, employees, and artists.
This new venue will provide an opportunity to start fresh and create new memories and traditions that could last for years to come.
