Jeremy Olander the progressive house expert is back with his first piece of original music in over a year. The release is a single entitled “Murphy,” and it is out now on his own Vivrant label.
In traditional progressive house fashion, “Murphy” explores a deep level of intricacy and dynamic range. Such are the hallmarks of the genre, except with Olander’s premiere abilities that have garnered the endorsement of Eric Prydz, those elements come to fruition with even more precision and grace.
The shimmering and staccato melody fades in quickly along with a sense of budding serenity. Each bright tone then gradually becomes just a bit longer, connecting to the notes that come before and after into one concise motif that persist throughout the rest of the track.
