After being postponed in 2020, fans will finally get to unite and experience Kraftwerk’s revolutionary shows once again.
Kraftwerk started as a multimedia project in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, and soon became internationally recognized for their innovative soundscapes and imaginative use of technology. Kraftwerk sculpted the path for the electronic music era, with their global reach going beyond the bounds of genres.
Their art was influential in the creation of present day genres like electro, hip-hop, techno, synth-pop, and more. In 2014, Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider were honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2021, Kraftwerk were recognized for their innovative work with their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The 2022 North American 3-D concert tour combines the electro pioneers’ ground-breaking music with performance art and three-dimensional visuals. After tragically losing one of the founding members, Florian Schneider, to cancer, the group will showcase “all compositions of the eight original albums” in tribute.
