Funk is officially headed to LA as Purple Disco Machine and Chromeo are poised to headline a Los Angeles staple outdoor space.
Purple Disco Machine, Chromeo, Duck Sauce, and more yet-to-be-announced groovy artists will take over The Shrine Outdoors on October 1 for one evening of house heaven.
Purple Disco Machine is a modern innovator of disco house, winning a Grammy and garnering industry-wide recognition for his remixes.
He has also worked alongside the Godfather of Disco, Cerrone, known for his massive 70s hits “Supernature” and “Love in C Minor.”
Chromeo is a Montreal-bred electro-funk duo with international hits like “Jealous (I Ain’t With It),” “Fancy Footwork,” and “Checklist.”
Five-time Coachella veterans, Chromeo are constantly reinventing themselves, joining forces with recognizable vocalists like La Roux in 2023 for “Replacements” and releasing a 2023 album with A-Trak entitled CLUSTERFUNK.
A-Trak will also be a part of this funky party as he is set to perform as Duck Sauce with his partner Armand van Helden. Duck Sauce is yet another chart-topping union best recognized by their 2011 smash “Barbara Streisand.”
General on sale for Chromeo, Purple Disco Machine, and Duck Sauce at The Shrine Outdoors begins Friday, June 16 at 10AM PST on the venue’s website here.
