Three ‘This Never Happened Summer Gatherings’ To Be Lane 8’s Only US Shows In 2023

Lane 8 is serving the US with just three headlining shows in 2023 which will be his only performances in the country all year, and all three shows will happen under the moniker of his rising record label and event series ‘This Never Happened Summer Gatherings’.

The outdoor phone-and-photo-free events last took place in 2017 and 2019, but they will return on June 3 in Queens, New York at Forest Hills Stadium. The next event will be on June 17 in San Francisco, California at The Great Northern, and the final event on September 9 in Denver Colorado at Civic Center Park.

The extolled deep house deity declares the three dates to be his only headline shows in North America this year. At each of the events, he will close off the nights with two-hour sets that will include new music that he has been working on in recent months. Four artists from TNH will be on the bill as well.

Lane 8 reminisces on his past events and looks forward to this Summer’s shows stating that, “I have so many great memories of the experiences we shared at the summer gatherings in 2017 and 2019. The beautiful outdoor locations, the sense of freedom and connection that we all tapped into – they felt like the perfect companion events to our typical indoor TNH shows. We were supposed to do more summer gatherings in 2021, but we all know how that went. So it feels doubly exciting for me that we can make these shows happen this year.”

Tickets go on sale on February 3 at 10AM local time. Grab them here to register for access to your only chance to catch a Lane 8 set in North America in 2023.

A battle with epilepsy could not stop me from finding the rave community or pursuing my passion to write. I was a journalism major at my college writing about sports when my condition took me out of my classes and stuck me in my home to focus on bills and get healthy. Once I got my seizures under control through medication I decided to face my fear of crowds and lasers in order to finally experience house music in festival fashion at Day Trip 2021. I quickly learned that I could continue to rave and manage my condition simultaneously. Then a raver was born! I love house and techno the most, which ironically are the genres that even brought my parents together. The dance music culture and community has connected me with the opportunity to write about my passion, the best of friends, a lover, and good and bad experiences that continue to grow me as a person. I'm based in Southern California let's catch a set!
