5 Reasons Why Lights All Night Is The Ultimate Christmas Gift

As the year quickly comes to an end, Lights All Night Dallas 2014 returns to the Dallas Convention Center on December 26th & 27th — some could say this is a post-christmas-turn-up. Turn up? A phrase the millennials came up with that essentially means celebrating to the nth power. Get ready to feast your eyes on a massive production, four stages, silent discos, a superstar lineup, and wild party costumes.

If you really adore someone, then Lights All Night without a doubt be a great christmas gift; since it’s literally the day after christmas — or Armin Van Buuren’s birthday.

Lights All Night is stepping up their stage production game this year, and we aren’t kidding. They released renderings for two of their stages this year; a plethora of LED screens and clay sharpy lasers are going to be shining down on pretty faces! After all it wouldn’t make sense if the stages didn’t have any lights; they are definitely living up to their name. Last year the event producers were experimenting with 3D Projection mappings for one of the stages and we’re anxious to see what’s in store for this year. LAN is one of the more unique festivals that utilizes new technologies in the production industry.

Dallas is the perfect place to throw an event with the fast-growing scene. The Dallas Convention Center is conveniently located near all of the great things Dallas has to offer. Folks from surrounding cities, and sometimes states make their journey here for their end of the year celebration. The Convention Center is also located by Dart rail lines so you won’t have to drive your car all the way if you’re staying out in Frisco with the family.

Have you ever heard of a silent disco? No? Well if you’re attending Lights All Night this is an experience you don’t want to miss out on. DJ’s will be hooked up to a system that broadcasts their infectious music into headphones that will be handed out to guests as they enter the area. This is totally ideal if you’re trying to have a conversation with someone you just met at one of the other stages. Simply stop dancing, take off the headphones, and talk to your heart’s content. You won’t have to scream into their ear over rumbling bass lines!

Don’t get us started on the lineup, it’s everything a die-hard EDM follower would want. Armin taking us into a state of trance, Zedd spinning his infectious ballads, Disclosure having every girl (or guy) in the room latching onto them, Odesza bringing their unique sound with a live performance, DJ Mustard bringing the hood scene, to Skrillex turning everyone in the room into bass head bros. There is definitely something for everyone with this lineup; the way they arranged the set times is close to perfection.

Texas is known for their “Everything is bigger in Texas” and they’ve proven. The EDM heads there don’t go crazy, they go hard. *emphasis on hard* The energy vibrations will be sky-high this year.  Take a deep breath and prepare yourself for incredible costumes, beautiful people, lots of neon hats, and wild dancing. You’ll leave this event with a smile on your face and your mind.
