Riot Games and Crown Channel have partnered together to host one of the first experimental music and art festivals titled, wwFest: VALORANT. The announcement of the festival is inspired by VALORANT, Riot Games’ extremely popular tactical shooter. The event will be streamed on Crown Channel, YouTube, as well as Amazon live and will incorporate various artwork and designs from VALORANT fans to help provide viewers at home with the most thematic experience possible. The festival will start on January 15 at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT.
Fans can submit VALORANT inspired art pieces such as photographs or other art creations inspired by the game by using the hashtag #wwFestArt. Submissions are open until January 13 and will be revealed on stage throughout the live-streamed festival. Full contest details are available here.
Madeon will perform and headline the festival with fellow DJ’s including ARMNHMR, Moore Kismet, and Ookay (Live Set), to help bring the festival to life. Viewers at home will be treated to an epic, personalized experience that will be accessible from all sorts of angles and perspectives.
It will be exciting to see how the theme of VALORANT will be expressed at an electronic dance music live-streamed event and how the art pieces will reflect both the game and the festival. Fans were given a sneak peek of what the festival will look like via the wwFest: VALORANT Edition Offical Trailer.
