Michael Bibi has announced a special one-night-only show at Ushuaïa Ibiza this fall.
The house music icon and Solid Grooves label boss will take the decks at the White Isle superclub’s open-air pool deck on Friday, September 20, 2024, as part of his anticipated “One Life” comeback tour.
Five years on from his Ushuaïa debut in 2019, Bibi will bring his own headline production to the club for the first time. Hand-curated support performances and other details will be announced in the coming months.
Last month, Bibi graced Coachella’s new Quasar stage to perform for the first time since announcing that he is cancer-free, following a six-month battle with CNS lymphoma, a rare form of cancer that affects the brain and spine.
Upon announcing his diagnosis in June 2023, Bibi would miss out on gigs for the “foreseeable future,” including his Solid Grooves residency in Ibiza. But after completing the main portion of his cancer treatment, Bibi surprised fans with an emotional return to the DC10 decks in time for the label’s closing party in September 2023.
Now that he’s officially back in action following Coachella, the “Got The Fire” and “Different Side” producer’s One Life tour will “express his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received during his journey” with several landmark shows across Europe this summer.
Before he touches down at Ushuaïa, Bibi’s One Lilfe tour will officially launch with a 45,000-capacity homecoming show at London’s Finsbury Park on July 6.
A percentage of proceeds from the London show and the entirety of the tour will support various cancer charities, including The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which finances the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where Bibi received treatment. Fans can also donate additional funds with each ticket purchase.
Other headline One Life tour stops include Sevilla, Spain’s Plaza de España in July and appearances at Zamna France and Creamfields in August. Find full tour details here.
