Michael Brun Revives His Bayo Tour Concept For 2022

Michael Brun hails from the Caribbean country of Haiti, and the young artist has always been passionate about sharing the musical history of his homeland. This coming May, Brun will revive his Bayo tour concept and once again bring Haitian sounds to major markets around the world.

The Bayo tour will hit Boston’s House of Blues on May 20 and New York City’s Pier 17 on May 21. These shows are based on the culture of spontaneous parties that would happen throughout the streets of Haiti. Participants would set up sound systems in the streets, opening a space for people to dance and enjoy themselves among the community.

Michael Brun is taking this concept to different venues and showcasing Haitian artists in the process. Throughout his time helming the Bayo tour, he has showcased at least 30 different Haitian artists, and that number will expand with these two upcoming shows.
