Pasquale Rotella Teases ‘Middlelands’ 2021 Revival

The end might not be over for Middlelands! The Insomniac Events medieval-themed festival that once was, got the boot following its debut in Todd Mission, Texas in 2017. Todd Mission is home to the renowned Texas Rennaisance Festival and was the perfect fit for the festival. However, once the festival wrapped, it was not asked to return.

Pasquale Rotella, the founder of Insomniac Events, took to Instagram that year to provide an explanation of what happened and how he tried to work with the local community to make it work. However, there was no headway made.

Now, it looks like behind the scenes the Insomniac team has been trying to bring the festival back. This weekend on Instagram, Pasquale responded to a comment about the festival’s return and simply said, “very close, 2021 looking good.”

So it looks like the Insomniac team is poised to resurrect the festival in some capacity in 2021! This is exciting news for those that have been waiting for it’s return. We can’t wait to see what they will announce, and of course, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
