Mz Worthy, the prominent producer, DJ, and original member of the Dirtybird crew, has announced she will begin offering mentor sessions. These sessions will be one-on-one, and they will cover everything from production work in Ableton, to building a brand, to networking, and more.
“After 20 years of producing and being in the music business, I want to share my knowledge and help upcoming House and Tech House producers take their music and brand to the next level,” Mz Worthy wrote in an Instagram caption.
Mz Worthy, real name Kristy Worthy Williams, also recently shared “Love & Give,” her first single under her new artist moniker. Up until last month, Williams produced and performed under the name Worthy. The change to Mz Worthy was the next step in her personal journey to find herself after coming out as transgender in December of 2020.
“I wanted to launch my journey as Mz Worthy with ‘Love & Give’ because this song has such a strong message of accepting who I am,” she said. “I am finally accepting myself after hiding from myself. The addition of ‘Mz’ to my name is a symbol of me finding my femininity and of me loving and giving myself this gift.”
