The legendary electronic trio NERO will perform for the first time together in five years at deadmau5‘s We Are Friends Tour at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The London-based group consists of producers Dan Stephens and Joe Ray along with vocalist Alana Watson.
NERO started as a drum and bass act before transitioning to genres like dubstep, house, and progressive. They are best known for their 2011 track “Promises” which skyrocketed them to mainstream success and became the soundtrack to many ravers’ introduction to dance music. Skrillex also remixed “Promises” which launched NERO even higher.
They would later remix songs for Daft Punk, deadmau5, and La Roux, taking a break between 2018 to 2021 before returning with two remixes over the next two years.
Now the iconic artists are back to open for deadmau5’s We Are Friends Tour at Red Rocks Amphitheater on November 4-5, their first performance together in five years.
