New York City Will No Longer Require Vaccination At Concerts

Last week, New York City Mayor, Eric Adams announced he is ending vaccination requirements for concerts. The order also applies to other indoor spaces such as gyms and restaurants.

The shift in policy comes after cases in the city have dropped significantly, with the Mayor touting the precautions as a key factor.

“We are winning,” Mr. Adams said in a speech delivered from Times Square, Manhattan. “Let’s celebrate.”

Shifts in COVID restrictions similar to that of New York City are happening all over the world. The revered Southern California music festival, Coachella, has ended all COVID-related precautions while countries in Europe like Sweden, Denmark, and The Netherlands are moving forward with “living with COVID” policies.
