Dutch DJ and producer, Nicky Romero, reunites with Tim van Werd, for his newest single, “On My Mind.” Released under Romero’s alias, Monocule, “On My Mind” showcases more melancholic elements of deep progressive house along with expressive vocals and melodic notes that exemplify the creatively deeper- albeit introspective and darker- aspects of Monocule’s style. Returning is fellow Dutch producer, Tim van Werd, whose previous collaboration with Romero’s Monocule includes “Time to Save.”
Romero has major hits ranging from “Legacy” with Krewella to “I Could Be The One” with Avicii to producing tracks for notable DJs such as David Guetta to artists such as Rihanna and Britney Spears. Romero has surely made a name for himself as a notable DJ and with the return of Tim van Werd, Monocule will continue to dive even further within the somber sounds in the deep progressive house space.
