Nostalgix has been on everyone’s radar ever since she released “Basics” in 2017 with Markus Aurelius. On May 13, she returned with yet another house banger, “My Type” under the Night Bass label. The song was released just in time for her to play it live in front of thousands at EDC Las Vegas this past weekend.
In just under a couple of weeks, “My Type” has accumulated over 105k streams on Spotify alone. In a TikTok video that she posted, Nostalgix states that her new track is the “hardest song ever”. The song is so bouncy, playful, and catchy, that is gets stuck in everyone’s head.
Nostalgix’s vocals are also featured on the track as she sings the lyrics, “You’re just my type. That’s what I like,”. Her music style truly shines through the bass and shuffle-worthy beats. Listen to “My Type” in full below:
