Our Favorite Live Stream Sets of the Year

Looking back at this year, there have been many ups and downs for the community. The pandemic rolling across the world and putting a stop to in-person events has been hard on the EDM industry, but the community stayed strong and innovative by going virtual through live streams. These allowed us to stay connected to the artists we love and enjoy our favorite festivals through these difficult times. Here are some of our personal favorite live stream sets from this year.

Oliver Heldens – Room Service Festival

Oliver Heldens’ set for Room Service had us transcending our rooms and reminiscing of better times. While also playing from a boat in Amsterdam, this set proved to be one of our favorites from this year.

Tchami b2b Dr. FreschDigital Mirage

For Thanksgiving we had the Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade crew come back for a third installment of their Digital Mirage stream, Friendsgiving. Tchami and Dr. Fresch went b2b for this festival to give us a sick house set, something we’re all very thankful for.

Jauz – Hard Summer Staycation Virtual Rave-A-Thon

HARD Summer Staycation stream gave us some crazy sets to enjoy. One of the best of which was Jauz whose groovy set left us missing those summer rave days.

Flosstradamus – Countdown Virtual Rave-A-Thon

For Countdown Virtual Rave-A-Thon we had Flosstradamus getting us hyped up with his heavy-hitting trap set, yet also exploring other genres for our dubstep, techno, and house fans.

Tisoki – Countdown Virtual Rave-A-Thon

Also at Countdown, we had Tisoki who gave us a dubstep, trap, and hip-hop fusion set that had us raging at home and was sure to make itself a place on this list.

KaskadeDigital Mirage

For the first installment of Digital Mirage, we got to see Kaskade playing his new tracks off his Redux 004 EP, which had us vibing the whole time.

Dirtyphonics – Couch Lands

The virtual bass jungle that we got to watch Couch Lands in was an amazing experience, and none better to break our necks to Dirtyphonics for their absolutely banger set!

SlanderVirtual Vibes Music Festival

SLANDER killed it for their Virtual Vibes Music Festival. Their set had us crying in our feels and headbanging at the same time!

ShadesDigital Mirage

This duo between Eprom and Alix Perez provided not only great tracks, but a sick visual experience as well for their Digital Mirage set. As one of the most innovative groups in the bass scene currently, SHADES turned a few heads with this set and was sure to be on this list as one of our favorite sets.

ATLiens – EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon

For the EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon, ATLiens killed it with their bass heavy set, and made us feel like we were back in the festival crowd with our homies, raging in person.

Even though we all wish we could be back on the festival grounds in-person, the artists and organizers of the industry are giving us great experiences through live streams that are keeping the community alive. We’d like to thank everyone responsible for making 2020 just a little bit better through these streams, and we wish you a happy new year in hopes of dancing together in person soon!
