Talented bass producer PEEKABOO has set an official release date for his highly anticipated debut LP, Eyes Wide Open, on November 3.
Just a few days ago, the producer shared the target date on Instagram, alongside a new billboard outside of the Russell Industrial Center in his home city of Detroit.
With left-field and experimental bass productions that have stood out against the backdrop of a Detroit scene that is more commonly linked with house and techno, PEEKABOO has been on a steady ascent to dubstep dominance over the past five years.
Early releases on Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN opened the door to projects with Zeds Dead and Deadbeats, and before long, PEEKABOO would find himself working with even more dubstep royalty in Caspa, Subtronics, and now Skrillex.
In addition to solo projects like his 2020 hit “Here With Me,” PEEKABOO’s work with Skrillex this year on songs like his own “Badders” and Skrillex’s “Hydrate,” has distinguished him even further as a force to be reckoned with.
Now with Eyes Wide Open, the spotlight is all on him, and bassheads around the world are eagerly awaiting the debut album that stands to be a true coming-out party for PEEKABOO’s definitively diverse bass sound.
PEEKABOO’s newest single from the forthcoming project, “Sleepwalk,” will arrive tomorrow, joining “Scared” with Zeds Dead and the aforementioned “Badders.” If these productions are any indication, fans will want to be locked in and ready when Eyes Wide Open drops on November 3.
