Phantoms Drops Nostalgic Indie-Electronic Album ‘This Can’t Be Everything’

Phantoms, the indie-house and electronic duo from Los Angeles, just dropped their second studio album This Can’t Be Everything four years after their LP debut.

The album contains emotive dance tracks like “Only You” with Jem Cooke and “This Can’t Be Everything” sung by the duo’s own Kyle Kaplan. There’s a signature nostalgia to Phantoms’ music that can be felt throughout the LP and will have electronic music fans feeling both emotional and hopeful.

Phantoms consists of Kyle Kaplan and Vinnie Pergola, two childhood friends who started as actors in Hollywood but transitioned to music in 2013. They are well known for their 2018 collaboration with Vanessa Hudgens “Lay With Me” which recreated scenes from the Disney Channel movie High School Musical.

They are active on Twitch and have a dedicated fanbase known as the “Phantoms Pham”. The artists also recently signed to Foreign Family Collective, the label founded by ODESZA.
