Primavera Sound Los Angeles will now take place from September 16-18, 2022
The long-awaited debut of Primavera Sound Los Angeles will have to be put on hold until next year after the festival announced today that the premiere of Primavera Sound Los Angeles will be rescheduled to 2022, and that the first edition of the event will now be three days instead of two. Primavera Sound Los Angeles was supposed to be held this year from September 19-20 at the L.A. State Historic Park, but due to undisclosed reasons, the festival will now be taking place next year from September 16-18, 2022.
Despite rescheduling, festival organizers are staying optimistic and are excited and eager to get to work on next year’s event. Ticket holders can either keep their tickets and use them for the rescheduled dates or request a refund via their Front Gate Tickets account. All refund requests must be submitted by 7/29/21 at 8:30 AM PST, no exceptions.
Festival organizers further commented that they “are working with renewed energy to bring the full Primavera Sound experience to Los Angeles. Until then, take care and see you in 2022.”
