Mark Villa, 16-year old Dutch producer and DJ is on the rise in the electronic music industry. He had a huge year in 2016 where he entered the scene playing stages at massive festivals like Tomorrowland and Parookaville when he was only 15.
His first release ‘Venture’ (2016) got support from fans and big artists like Laidback Luke, Lucas & Steve and Don Diablo. Followed by his second release ‘No Mercy’, it became a huge hit. Galantis recently played No Mercy x U&I remix on UMF Miami and Coachella. He has reached over 2M plays on Spotify, making it one of his biggest successes in his young career. Mark Villa’s reaction was ‘It is crazy, two million plays and counting! I am really excited and now I am extra motivated to go for four million plays on my next releases.’
After playing two huge gigs last year, 2017 is looking great for Villa as well. This year he will be playing at the club Bootshaus in Germany with Laidback Luke. He is also set to play Tomorrowland Belgium this summer. It is safe to say that Villa is a rising star to watch in 2017!
