An Instagram story posted by Chris Lake showed Skrillex working on new music
The collab of all collabs may be upon us, as Chris Lake posted an Instagram story the other night which featured Skrillex working on new music in the studio. In the picture, Skrillex can be seen working on music via his computer which Chris Lake simply captions “@skrillex.” Skrillex has stayed relatively quiet in terms of releases. In the past few months, he has helped with production on Justin Bieber’s ‘Justice‘ and Maeta’s ‘Toxic‘ and recently, Skrillex released a few collaborative tracks with Four Tet and Starrah, Swae Lee and Siiickbrain and Noisia, josh pan, and Dylan Brady.
This is the first we have heard about a potential collaborative track between one of the biggest house DJs and one of the most recognized DJs in the world. It will be very interesting to see what vertical the two powerhouse DJs decide on, whether it’s house or Skrillexs’ harder electronic sounds, we are confident that the track will be nothing short of tremendous. As of now, there is no set release date for the track, but we will make sure to update you once more information becomes available.
