Skrillex is coming back to Chicago.
After teasing a Windy City return in a post on X yesterday, the electronic music icon today confirmed he’ll play a two-night headline run at Navy Pier on September 11-12. In addition to delivering a closing performance, Skrillex curates a full support lineup on night one, while on night two, he’s slated to play open-to-close.
Fresh off the release of his sixth studio album, SOMA, the famed producer and DJ will be joined on opening night by a stacked bill of performances from high-profile collaborators and artists in his circle: Dylan Brady, Frost Children, Knock2, slayr, and Tiffany Day.
The show will mark Skrillex’s third trip back to Chicagoland in as many years. After headlining Lollapalooza in 2024—then his first appearance at the festival in a decade and his first in the city since 2016—he also returned to play this year’s Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash in nearby Bridgeview, Illinois, in June.
The Navy Pier event is also the second surprise tour stop Skrillex has announced this month. Last week, the dance superstar revealed he’ll return to Seattle later this month for his first performance in the city in 14 years.
Pre-sale registration for Skrillex: Two Nights at Navy Pier is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access begins on Wednesday, August 12, at 10AM CT. General on-sale will follow on Thursday, August 13, at 10AM CT.
